Steering column module and assembling method thereof

The module (10) has a basic housing (16) with a rotor (24) for coupling to the rotary motion of the vehicle's steering wheel and a coil strip for transferring electrical signals between the rotor and the basic housing. The basic housing has a coil strip section (18) and a sensor section (20) for a steering angle sensor, whereby the rotor engages through the coil strip section and is rotatably mounted on the sensor section. An independent claim is also included for the following: (a) a method of assembling an inventive steering column module.
