SCROLL HOUSING STRUCTURE OF CENTRIFUGAL FAN CAPABLE OF REDUCING NOISE

PURPOSE: A scroll housing structure of a centrifugal fan is provided to reduce noise by preventing a swirl flow from generating in the scroll housing of the centrifugal fan. CONSTITUTION: A centrifugal fan(100) having a scroll housing structure capable of reducing noise includes a motor(101) and a motor bracket(102) coupled to both sides of the motor(101). An impeller(103) is rotatably coupled to an outer portion of the motor bracket(102). A scroll housing(104) surrounds the impeller(103) in order to guide air sucked or exhausted by means of the impeller(103). The impeller(103) has a plurality of blades(112) and a ring-shaped rim(113). The scroll housing(104) is formed at both sides thereof with a suction port(121) for sucking air from an exterior, and an exhaust port(122) is formed in perpendicular to the suction port(121) so as to exhaust air towards the exterior. A plurality of plates(123) for preventing swirl is installed in the scroll housing(104).
