PURPOSE: A steering-assistance force control method of an EPS(Electronic Power Steering) system is provided to secure stability in steering of a vehicle by compensating the input of steering through the use of the absolute position of a steering wheel. CONSTITUTION: A steering-assistance force control method of an EPS system comprises steps of outputting a big steering-assistance force torque value when a speed signal(V) of a vehicle is small and outputting a small steering-assistance force torque value when the speed signal of the vehicle is big; finding a steering angle(alpha) as a steering wheel of the vehicle is deviated from the absolute position of neutral; and calculating the output steering-assistance torque value and the found steering angle through a subtracter, and compensating and outputting the steering-assistance force torque value for absolute position information although the steering angle is considerably deviated from natural.
