<p>An airbag for a vehicle which is comprised of a first base cloth portion (11) having a gas inlet opening, a second base cloth portion (12) joined (15) along an outer edge thereof to an outer edge of the first base cloth portion to form a gas-fillable chamber (16), gas escape venting (22) which is communicable with the chamber, and a shielding connection portion (31,33).
