MULTI-WAVELENGTH LIGHT SOURCE USING THIN FILM FILTER

PURPOSE: A multi-wavelength light source using a thin film filter is provided to generate multi-wavelengths without an additional temperature compensation circuit by using the thin film filter. CONSTITUTION: A multi-wavelength light source using a thin film filter includes a light source(10) for generating a broadband wavelength and a plurality of wavelength division stages(20) for outputting selectively multi-wavelengths of the light source(10). The wavelength division stage(20) includes the first filter(100), the second filter(200), and an optical attenuator(300). The first filter(100) is formed with three ports of an input port, a pass port, and a reflection port in order to pass selectively the multi-wavelengths receives from the light source. The second filter(200) includes a thin film filter having two ports of an input port and a pass port to pass the light through the first filter. The optical attenuator(300) controls the uniformity of the light through the second filter.
