The non-slip socks have ankle-length uppers (1) with two side panels (1A, 1B) made at least partly from elastomer fibres with a high degree of elasticity to allow them to be put on and taken off easily. The soles (5) are of a supple material and have a structured under-surface (5A) that is roughened or has projections providing a good adhesion on wet surfaces. They can also have an inner surface cushion layer for comfort.
