FLOW GUIDING DEVICE OF IMPELLER FOR CENTRIFUGAL FAN

PURPOSE: A flow guiding device of a centrifugal fan is provided to reduce noise and to increase an amount of exhaust air by preventing a fluid flow from being dispersed at an inner portion of a motor bracket. CONSTITUTION: A centrifugal fan(100) having a flow guiding device includes a motor(101) and a motor bracket(102) coupled to both sides of the motor(101). An impeller(103) is rotatably coupled to an outer portion of the motor bracket(102). A scroll housing(104) surrounds the impeller(103) in order to guide air sucked or exhausted by means of the impeller(103). The scroll housing(104) is formed at both sides thereof with a suction port(105) for sucking air from an exterior, and an exhaust port(106) is formed in perpendicular to the suction port(105) so as to exhaust air towards the exterior. A cut-off section(107) is formed at an inner portion of the exhaust port(106) of the scroll housing(104) so as to easily exhaust air to the exterior. A flow guide(110) is integrally formed with an inner portion of the motor bracket(102). If a width of the scroll housing(104) is L, and a thickness of the flow guide(110) is D, D/L is larger than 0 and smaller than 0.1.
