摘要 PURPOSE: Provided is an apparatus for reducing CODs in flue gas desulfurization wastewater, which can reduce inorganic COD components in short time by using electrochemical oxidation process. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises a reaction vessel(10); a hollow cathode tube being connected to a desulfurization wastewater inlet and a power supply unit(20) at an upper end portion thereof and installed in the reaction vessel(10), and having a plurality of perforated holes(30a) at a lower end portion thereof; an anode bar(40) installed in the cathode tube(30) and connected to the power supply unit(20); and a diffuser(50) for diffusing ozone or air into the cathode tube(30) to mix the ozone or air with the desulfurization wastewater, wherein the cathode tube(30) is made of stainless steel or copper, the anode bar(40) is made of stainless steel and a voltage potential across the cathode tube(30) and the anode bar(40) is about 5 to 10 volts.
