PURPOSE: A GUI(Graphic User Interface) based modeling method for the optimal design uniting multi-field is provided to clearly define a design problem by linking each component with a graphic diagram component. CONSTITUTION: A designer for setting the design problem based on the GUI selects the graphic diagram component corresponding to the design problem(S103). The design problem is connected to the component to be set by using the graphic diagram component(S104). After optimization using an analysis program, the design problem setting is completed if an optimal point is reached(S114).
