t is disclosed herein a parking meter (fig.1,1a,1b) having a panel with luminous indicia and a timing mechanism measuring the parking duration and fees calculated on a 30 min or 24 hour basis. It bears a 12v power pedal-switch (fig.20) and has means adjusting the elasticity of the steel barrier (68,67,70) (fig.13) which is actuated by a 12v motor (8) (fig.20) designed to open and close the cones impeding the vehicle's exit. The two casings (67)(fig.13), (73)(fig.14) & (88) (fig.20) and the cones line (77,79,80) (fig.16) are buried at ground level and disposed in vertical or parallel arrangement with regard to parked vehicles. |
