PURPOSE: An ink jet printer is provided to perform borderless printing work over the whole area of a printing paper and to retrieve ink, which is deviated from the printing paper. CONSTITUTION: An ink jet printer includes an ink cartridge(30), a feeding roller(40), and a waste ink retrieving unit(50). The ink cartridge(30) is provided at a lower portion thereof with a print head(31) for spraying ink. The feeding roller(40) is installed at a lower portion of the print head(31) so as to convey printing papers. The waste ink retrieving unit(50) retrieves ink, which is sprayed deviated from the printing paper. The ink cartridge(30) is detachably coupled to a carriage(20), which is slidably supported by a guide shaft(21) installed on a main frame of the ink jet printer. The feeding roller(40) makes contact with a pressing roller(41).
