HYDROGEN STORING APPARATUS USING HYDROGEN STORING ALLOY

PURPOSE: A hydrogen storing apparatus using a hydrogen storing alloy is provided to improve hydrogen movement and heat transfer, simplify the structure thereof, and reduce the manufacturing cost. CONSTITUTION: In a reaction pipe, upper sides of an inner pipe(5) and a middle pipe(4) are fixed to a lower brazen plate(3) located at an upper end of a hydrogen storing apparatus and lower sides of the inner pipe and the middle pipe are sealed by a finish brazen plate(15). A hydrogen storing alloy(7) is filled up by opening the upper brazen plate. A hydrogen entrance(11) is formed at the upper center part of the middle pipe and a thermocouple is installed in the middle pipe. A cold/hot water pipe inlet(10) is formed at a center of an upper end of a hydrogen storing container(1) and a cold/hot water pipe outlet(12) is formed at an upper outer pipe(2). The cold/hot water exchanges the heat of the reaction pipe at the inner side of the inner pipe, the outer side of the middle pipe, and a lower side of the finish brazen plate. A plurality of O-rings(14) are installed to the lower brazen plate and the upper and the lower brazen plates are tightened by a bolt, so that the hydrogen storing container is sealed. A stainless net(8) is inserted in the middle and inner pipes to make the movement of the hydrogen easy.
