A lock for a road wheel of a vehicle comprises an A-shaped frame having two square-section opposed limbs which are placed in use to either side of the wheel so tat a locking bar (D) can be passed trough tube (C) on the first limb, through the wheel and then through tube (C) on the second limb. A flange (E) on the locking bar is aligned with flanges (A) on the second limb so that a padlock can be passed through all three thus locking the bar in place. Flanges (A) are intended to prevent access to the padlock by means such as bolt cutters. The lock is constructed from steel or hardened steel and may be reinforced by webs (B). It is intended to be easily stored within the vehicle when not in use. |
