ELECTRO-GALVANIZING ADDITIVE

PURPOSE: An electro-galvanizing additive is provided which is capable of obtaining a plating layer having stable and uniform gloss during electroplating and obtaining the uniform gloss surface over wide current density range from high current density to low current density. CONSTITUTION: The electro-galvanizing additive comprises 0.2 to 2 weight parts of N-benzyl-N-methyl imidazolium salt; 0.5 to 5 weight parts of polyoxyethylene-β-naphtyl ether sulfonic acid sodium salt; 2 to 10 weight parts of 3-carboxy-1-(phenylmethyl) pyridium chloride sodium salt; 0.2 to 5 weight parts of 4-methoxybenzaldehyde; 1 to 5 weight parts of polyvinyl alcohol; 1 to 10 weight parts of polyethylene imine; and 0.1 to 2 weight parts of antifoaming agent, wherein the polyethylene imine is a mixture of polyethylene imine having molecular weight of 600 and polyethylene imine having molecular weight of 25,000.
