<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent any derailment by automatic direction change and track correction of wheels owing to the action of a shock absorber when a truck swings to wither left side or right side relative to a progressing direction, with regard to a derailment preventing device for a straightly advancing type truck running on a rail. SOLUTION: T type or I type retaining metals 13 are attached to the wheel mount 7 of a truck 1 and one-side opened angular receiving metals 14 are attached to the flange part 8 of the truck main body 1 and by pinching the retaining metals 13 on the wheel side by means of the retaining metals 14 on the truck main body side, the retaining metals 13 on the wheel side hit the retaining metals 14 on the truck main body side when a wheel 3 swings to left and right relative to the progressing direction of the truck so as to correct the track automatically by the wheels themselves to make further running. In this case, a shock absorber (rubber plate 18) provided on the inner surfaces of the receiving metals 14 are hit by the retaining metals 13 and on account of that repelling force, the wheels are changed in their mutually opposing directions and by repeating this action, track correction can be carried out automatically by the wheels themselves.</p> |
