PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power generator for generating power by shaking a vibration piece having a piezoelectric layer and suitable for a small portable apparatus in which the power generation capability is enhanced while reducing mechanical loss. SOLUTION: The A seal layer 40 containing hard microparticles is provided in the gap between the upper surface 21a of a vibration piece 21 and the fixing face 31a of a fixing member 31 for clamping the vibration piece 21 having a piezoelectric layer 22 together with a base 1a, and the gap between the lower surface 21b of the vibration piece and the installation face 1b of the base 1a. Since the gaps and the micro irregularities on respective surfaces are filled with microparticles, rigidity is enhanced at the fixed part and vibration leakage therefrom is suppressed thus realizing a vibration piece in which damping due to mechanical loss is suppressed. Since mechanical loss is suppressed, power generation capability of the vibration piece 21 is enhanced thus realizing a power generator which can supply a sufficient powder. |
