<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize an OAM processor and to reduce its power consumption by reducing a circuit scale by such mans as the sharing of an overlapped section in the Oam processor that performs the operation control and maintenance control of an ATM network. SOLUTION: An output means 3 stores a plurality of preregistered VPI/VCI. Then, when an extraction means 1 extracts the VPI/VCI, the extracted VPI/VCI are compared with a plurality of registered VPIs/VCIs, and a coincidence signal is outputted when any of the plurality of registered VPIs/VCIs coincides with the extracted VPI/VCI. On the other hand, when an alarm detection means 2 detects a physical layer alarm, an output means 3 outputs the VPI of all VPs related to the detected physical layer alarm out of the plurality of registered VPIs/VICs to a VP-AIS output means 4. The VP-AIS output means 4 creates a VP-AIS cell based on the VPI for outputting to a cell stream.</p> |
