PURPOSE: A method for recognizing text information in a mobile terminal is provided so that a blind person can recognize a received text or call. CONSTITUTION: In an idle state(200), the control part of a mobile terminal checks whether a text is inputted(202). In case that a text is inputted, the control part checks whether the mobile terminal is in a text input vibration mode(206). If the mobile terminal is in the text input vibration mode, the control part fetches a vibration message matched to the inputted text and outputs it to a vibration part(208). The control part controls the vibration part so as to generate a vibration based on the vibration message(210). After the generation of the vibration, the control part checks whether a key to store the inputted text is inputted(212). If the input of the key is generated, the control part stores the inputted text in a memory(214).
