PURPOSE: A grain of an earth rice seed is provided to increase the possibility of growing rice out of rice seeds without using a separate seedbed and thus, to yield the same effects with rice planting. CONSTITUTION: The grain of an earth rice seed(10) is prepared by immersing rice seeds(20) and an appropriate amount of a growth accelerant in water for 24 hours, and drying the immersed rice seeds(20) in the shade. Then, 3-5 earth rice seeds(10) are put in a mixed mortar(30) and dried therein. The mixed mortar(30) is prepared by mixing 55-65 vol% of mud, 10-20 vol% of starch, 5-15 vol% of sawdust, 5-15 vol% of rice hulls, and 3-7 vol% of peat moss, and molding the mixture. The earth rice seed(10) is usually wrapped up in gelatin or paper.
