PURPOSE: A method and a system for offering online information using a security key are provided to offer the information to other person through the online even then a computer is a security state and other persons can use the computer by detaching the security key from the computer as the user leaves the computer. CONSTITUTION: User computers(201-1¯200-n) connect to a communication network and include a terminal connected to the security key. If the security key is connected to the terminal, the user computer operates normally. If the security is detached from the terminal, the previously stored data, or the data downloaded from a web site connected through the communication network is displayed on a screen. A central server(210) offers the web site connecting to the user computers through the communication network. If the user computer is connected through the network after detaching the security key, the central server connects the user computer to the web page storing the data to be downloaded. Then, the user computer downloads the data from the web page.
