PURPOSE: A downward gas boiler is provided to improve the durability of a burner and the boiler by having abundant circulating water and reducing the switching of the burner. CONSTITUTION: A downward gas boiler is composed of an outer shell(100) having connecting units(102,104) communicated with outer pipes, a downward combustion type burner(110) installed at the upper part of the outer shell, water tanks(122,124) formed at the inner top and bottom of the outer shell, and a plurality of water pipes(132,134) communicated with the water tanks. High-temperature combustion gas flows downward through a central flue(106) formed in the outer shell, and flows upward through an outer flue(108) formed between the water pipes, and is discharged through an exhaust pipe(128) installed at the outer shell.
