摘要 PURPOSE: A dual panel-type organic electroluminescent device and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve the process efficiency by forming a hygroscopic pattern for improving the lifetime of an organic electroluminescent device in a continuous process together with an electric connecting pattern. CONSTITUTION: Each of first and second substrates(110,150) has a sub-pixel region that is a minimum unit for realizing a screen and is arranged at constant intervals. An array device layer(140) includes a plurality of thin film transistors(T) formed within a first substrate(110) in a sub-pixel unit. An electrical connection pattern(144) is connected to the thin film transistors(T) at an upper portion of the array device layer(140). A hygroscopic pattern(146) is formed on a region except the electrical connection pattern(144). An organic electroluminescent diode device(E) is comprised of a first electrode(152), an organic electroluminescent layer(160), and a second electrode(162) and connected to the electrical connection pattern(144). The first electrode(152) is formed on the front of an inner of the second substrate(150). The organic electroluminescent layer(160) is formed on a lower portion of the first electrode(152). The second electrode(162) is formed on a lower portion of the organic electroluminescent layer(160) in a sub-pixel unit. A seal pattern(170) encapsulates edges of the first and second substrates(110,150).
