STRUCTURE FOR INSTALLING CABINET OF INTEGRAL TYPE AIR CONDITIONER

PURPOSE: A structure for installing a cabinet of an integral type air conditioner is provided to reduce number of installation components and simplify assembly process by forming a top retainer integrally with a front panel to allow a first curtain frame and a second curtain frame to be mounted to both sides of the cabinet. CONSTITUTION: A structure comprises a cabinet(52) having an open front side; a front panel(54) coupled to the front side of the cabinet, and having an inlet(54a) and an outlet(54b) formed thereon to allow indoor air to be introduced and discharged; a first curtain frame(56) and a second curtain frame(58) installed on both sides of the cabinet to allow the cabinet to be closely to a mounting hole of a wall or a window; and a top retainer(55) integrally formed on an upper rear end of the front panel to allow upper ends of the first curtain frame and the second curtain frame to be slid thereto. The top retainer is bent in L-shape so that an upper side of the front panel is extended backward and has an end covering an indoor upper corner of a hole on the wall or the window.
