PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display panel and its driving method are provided to minimize an amplitude of a common voltage ripple when displaying a specific pattern with a dot inversion method. CONSTITUTION: The dot inversion liquid crystal display panel comprises a number of gate lines(GL0-GLn) and data lines(DL1-DLm), and liquid crystal cells formed at every cross area of the gate lines and the data lines, and a number of common voltage lines formed in parallel with the gate lines. Each liquid crystal cell comprises a liquid crystal capacitor constituted with a pixel electrode and a common electrode, and the first storage capacitor constituted with the pixel electrode and a gate line in a previous stage. The second storage capacitor is composed of a common voltage line included in a horizontal line adjacent to the pixel electrode. |
