PURPOSE: A radial tire is provided to reduce the weight of the tire and to improve the extension and the contraction by firmly fixing the end of a carcass. CONSTITUTION: A carcass(2) shields a bead core(5) and an apex(6) from the outside of a tire inward. An end(2e) of the carcass is located between the carcass and the apex. By differing the combining structure of the carcass and the apex, the end of the carcass is fixed in the apex firmly. Therefore, the extension and the contraction are improved and the weight of the tire is reduced. Moreover, the riding comfort is improved.
