WATERTIGHT STRUCTURE OF UNDERWATER PUMP AND ELBOW PIPE

PURPOSE: A watertight structure of an underwater pump and an elbow pipe is provided to prevent a water leakage when the underwater pump is driven by mounting a gasket adhering closely to a flange formed at an inlet of the elbow. CONSTITUTION: An elbow pipe(100) is fixed to the bottom of a water tank. An underwater pump(120) pumps water in the water tank into the elbow pipe. A guide member(140) guides the underwater pump so that the underwater pump is mounted to the elbow pipe. A support rod(110) adheres closely to the guide member when the underwater pump moves down. A gasket(150) prevents a water leakage when the underwater pump is driven. A flange(102) is formed at an inlet of the elbow pipe. A protrusion unit(104) into which the support rod is fit is formed at the top of the flange. A couple of guide rods(108) are inserted into both sides of the elbow pipe, and guide the guide member. An incline plane(102a) is formed at the flange, and contacts with the gasket.
