PURPOSE: An actuator for a flexible cable connector is provided to maintain contact force between an FPC/FFC and terminals, and prevent damage of an actuator and the terminals. CONSTITUTION: An actuator(130) includes a contact panel(131) rotatively installed at a housing for attaching an FPC(Flexible Printed Circuit board)/FFC(Flexible Flat Cable) closely to a securing slot of the housing. A plurality of locking protrusions(131b) are protruded at both sides of a front end of the contact panel to be inserted into locking grooves formed at inner surfaces of fixing arms when the contact panel closes the securing slot. A plurality of support parts(132) are formed at a rear end of the contact panel. A shaft(133) is supported by ends of the support parts for forming a rotary center of the contact panel. Cam parts(135) are formed on both sides of the rear end of the contact panel to be fixedly supported by the fixing arms.
