PURPOSE: A damper of an air vent of a vehicle is provided to shorten and compact the air vent by dividing a damping plate into two doors and installing the doors in a duct. CONSTITUTION: An air vent damper(10) has a first door(20) and a second door(21) installed therein. The first door is placed on an upper part of an inside of a duct(30) to open and close the upper part of the inside of the duct. A pad(23) is formed along a circumference of the first door to reduce friction between the first door and the duct and noise during opening and closing of the first door, and to allow smooth opening and closing of the first door. The second door is placed on a lower part of the inside of the duct to open and close the upper part of the inside of the duct. The pad is formed along a circumference of the second door to reduce friction between the second door and the duct during opening and closing the second door, and to allow smooth opening and closing of the second door. The whole duct is opened and closed by the first door and the second door. Some of both ends of the first door and the second door are overlapped with each other to reduce a gap.
