PURPOSE: An electrically conductive layer and a solid electrolyte in electrolytic capacitors are provided to improve the conductivity and related quality, and to enhance binding force residual salts and homogeneity. CONSTITUTION: An electrolytic capacitor comprises a layer of an oxidizable metal, a layer of oxide of this metal, a solid electrolyte, and contacts. At this time, the solid electrolyte comprises polythiophenes comprising recurring units of the formula (I), where A is a C1-C5-alkylene radical which is substituted at any point by an -OR group, optionally via a spacer L, and optionally bears further substituents, L is a methylene group, x is 0 or an integer greater than or equal to 1 and R is H or C1-C18-alkyl, C7-C18-aralkyl, C5-C14-aryl or C5-C12-cycloalkyl which is each optionally unsubstituted or additionally substituted by SO3H, SO3¬-, COOH or COO¬-. |
