PURPOSE: Provided is a fabric angle detection control device for a linen fabric modifier which involves heightened fabric angle detection efficiency. CONSTITUTION: The fabric angle detector for a linen modifier comprises: a light source(20) for radiating light to the linen fabric(10); a photo-detection unit(30) for detecting the light transmitting the linen fabric per the incidence angles using slits of a slit plate(32), and converting it into electrical signals; and a control unit(40) for selecting the signal of the center slit among the signals exceeding the average reference value as a fabric angle.
