FIELD: ferrous metallurgy; change of construction of conveyer-type sintering machines. SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes stage-by-stage change of conveyer-type sintering machine by conveyer-type sintering machine with sintering trolleys of altered construction at separation on radius guides and when shifting from radius guide to rectilinear guides and vice versa; movable unloading part pressed towards drive sprocket is provided with non- driven sprockets and drive fitted on output shaft of drive sprocket by its hole; at first stage, set of sintering trolleys of altered construction are mounted and then altered drive part or altered unloading part , then altered unloading part or altered drive part with drive is mounted; operation is not discontinued during change of parts; each new part has new kinematics.
