FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves applying electroneuromyografic diagnostic examination with parameters of the second wink reflex component, F-wave when stimulating the optic nerve. Coefficient is calculated from known formula and mean motor unit potential durations and silent period parameters are determined in temporal muscle. The obtained parameter values are interpreted in terms of facial hemispasm and blepharospasm diagnosis. EFFECT: high accuracy of differential diagnosis. |
