FIELD: biology, medicine. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention reports about identification of new cytostatic factor of natural origin eliciting immunoregulatory and antitumor properties. This factor can be isolated from nucleus-containing erythroid cells. Factor shows thermostability, it resistant to enzymatic proteolysis and to effect of lipase and phospholipase but sensitive to treatment with neuraminidase, its molecular mass is about 0.5 kDa or less. The identified factor can be used in treatment of allergic, autoimmune and tumor diseases.
