FIELD: production of chemical filaments. SUBSTANCE: method involves providing knitted fabric from hydrated cellulose fiber; performing thermochemical processing of resultant web, with following untying of web into threads. Knitting is performed by plain weaving at knitting density in horizontal and vertical planes determined from ratios with number of carbon textured fibers coils of from 1.6 to 2.5 and from 1.1 to 1.5, respectively. During thermal processing, temperature is increased in the range of 250-400 C at rate of 5-10 deg/hour and in the range of 400-950 C at rate of 80-100 deg/hour. Carbon thread produced by method has 30-100 coils at length of 10 cm and provides for rupture load of 10-30 gs/tex, failure elongation of 1.0% plus and minus 0.5% at carbon content of at least 94%. EFFECT: improved quality and reduced production cost of carbon thread, increased efficiency of carbon thread production method and reduced power consumption. 5 cl, 1 tbl |
