FIELD: automotive industry. SUBSTANCE: proposed method of demounting includes demounting of tread cap support found inside pneumatic tire from monoblock mounting rim, whose two seats are tilted outwards extending in axial direction in projections of little height. Method comes to driving demounting insert into lubricated clearance between top of first bead of tire and corresponding rim seat. Said demounting insert is made in form of section of ring small-size triangular cross section, then first bead is removed from rim before or simultaneously with removal of system formed by said pneumatic tire and tread cap support from said rim.
