FIELD: electrical engineering; gas-turbine units. SUBSTANCE: power system for turbine/ac generator unit has actuated gas turbine and permanent-magnet ac generator, both revolving on common shaft, and inversion circuit connected either to ac current output circuit or to ac generator stator winding. Control circuit switches over inversion circuit during starting period to ac generator stator winding and during power output period, to ac current output circuit. In this way ac generator runs as electric motor during starting period to raise turbine speed to safe ignition value and during power output period power system passes electrical energy to ac current output circuit , its frequency being independent of ac generator speed. EFFECT: provision for variable-speed operation of system with output frequency and voltage being independent of rotor speed. 17 cl, 8 dwg |
