The system has a light source, an optical system and a set of mobile blades which can be adjusted to alter the shape of the beam. The movement of the blades is controlled automatically, using servomotors (84) controlled by a central control unit. The motors can rotate the blade assembly and move the blades in two orthogonal directions.
