SUBSTANCE: invention describes method for preparing polyphenylsiloxane method that involves hydrolytic esterification of phenyltrichlorosilane in nonpolar solvent medium in the mole ratio of phenyltrichlorosilane, alcohol and water = 1:(1.0-2.0):(0.5-2.0), respectively, followed by hydrolysis of prepared product in the presence of tetrabutoxytitanium and/or hydrogen chloride, polycondensation and solvent excess distillation off.
