FIELD: electrical engineering; on-line restart of synchronous motors. ^ SUBSTANCE: first procedure in resuming synchronous motor starting cycle (restarting) is generation of reference voltage which is continuously compared with supply voltage, and if the latter drops below reference value, its rise to reference voltage level is waited for whereupon motor restart instruction is generated. Device implementing proposed method has series-interconnected pulse shaper and power amplifier which are connected to supply mains. Newly introduced in device are reference voltage source and threshold unit whose first input is connected to start mode control input of pulse shaper, and power amplifier input is connected to synchronous motor. ^ EFFECT: facilitated motor restart on power supply failure; simplified design of device used for the purpose. ^ 2 cl, 1 dwg |
