FRONT LONG-GUN SPRINKLER UNIT (VERSIONS)

FIELD: agricultural engineering. SUBSTANCE: sprinkler unit has pumping and water intake devices mounted on main (hitch or pull-type) frame equipped with additional rotating frame. Two long guns oriented in opposite directions are equipped with short-range sprinkler heads and two end average-range sprinkler units hydraulically communicated with pressure line and provided with pivot joint allowing units to rotate around horizontal shaft for changing angle of inclination with respect to horizontal plane. Cable braces are used for changing inclination angle during operation under wind conditions. Cable braces connect long guns through pulleys with hydraulic cylinders and levers. Additional rotating frame is used for moving sprinkler unit to transport position and storage position. Rotating frame is connected to main frame and is equipped with adjustable supports.
