PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suspension device for a flat-panel type display which is usually stored in the ceiling, and which can be quickly installed when necessary. SOLUTION: This suspension device has a turning arm 5 disposed between fixing fitting 1 fixed to the ceiling, a metallic shaft 5a is penetrated through the center of the turning arm 5, and both ends of the shaft 5a are fixed to the respective fittings 1. A telescopic arm 2 is provided with a telescoping locking part 2a for locking or unlocking at the given telescoped position, an elevation angle locking part 2b for locking or unlocking a mounting base 4 to a rising arm 8 at a prescribed angle, and a pulling handle 12 connected to the rising angle locking part 2b and the telescoping locking part 2a with a wire 14.
