PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of GI (guard interval) in order to save the transmission power for a multi-carrier transmission device, and to keep reception performance of the multi-carrier transmission device for a delayed wave later than the GI length. SOLUTION: A predetermined processing is performed for transmission data via an error correction coding unit 101, a modulating unit 102, an S/P converting unit 103, and an IFFT (inverse fast Fourie transform) unit 104. The result is outputted to a GI inserting unit 105 and a memory 106. The GI inserting unit 105 inserts a GI into an output signal of the IFFT unit 104. The memory 106 stores the output signal of the IFFT unit 104 temporarily, A selecting unit 107 selects an output signal of the GI inserting unit 105 at first, and selects the signal stored in the memory 106, and outputs them. A wireless transmitting unit 108 performs a predetermined wireless processing such as up-conversion for the output of the selecting unit 107, and transmits the result from an antenna 109.
