PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To preclude the possibility of generating eccentricity in a rotary shaft and a rotary member so as to provide high precision, by forming the rotary shaft and the rotary member as an integrated structure. SOLUTION: In this potentiometer, the rotary shaft 12 and a pulley 32 are formed integrally to eliminate the eccentricity. A protection frame 46 is attached to a fixed body 10 to cover an outer face side of the pulley 32, and a fixed shaft 48 inserted from the outer face side into a shaft hole 52 in the center of the pulley 32 to support the pulley 32 rotatably is provided in the protection frame 46 to support the integrated structure of the rotary shaft 12 and the pulley 32 in both side by a bearing part 44 and the fixed shaft 48.
