PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a gas burner preventing the boiled-over matter from intruding into a burner body and a burner venturi. SOLUTION: A burner top 20 is composed of three members, that is, the burner venturi 22, the burner body 24 and a burner head 26. The burner head 26 has the shape of a turned-over dish, and placed in a state of covering an upper part and a peripheral surface of the disc-shaped burner body 24. Whereby the boiled-over matter drops without attaching to the burner body 24, and does not intrude into the burner body 24 and the burner venturi 22, even when it drops and moves on the burner head 26.
