PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair cosmetic for removing an alkali having excellent usability, a feeling of finish and effects on removal of an alkaline agent remaining in the hair with slight damage to the hair, affording foam of good quality and filled in a gas-free foamer container. SOLUTION: The hair cosmetic for removing the alkali is obtained by filling a detergent composition characterized by comprising a surfactant in an amount of 5-12 mass% based on the total amount of the detergent composition at a pH within the range of 4.0-5.5 in the gas-free foamer container (preferably a squeeze foamer).
