PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle seat allowing a physically handicapped person and an old person to get on and off a vehicle easily. SOLUTION: This vehicle seat is provided with a function for rotating a seat main body 10 and changing its direction, a function for moving it in the forward and backward directions of the vehicle, and a function for moving it between the inside and the outside of the vehicle through a door opening part K. When moving the seat main body 10 between the inside and the outside of the vehicle, it is rotated and moved while changing its direction. By moving the seat main body to the outside of a vehicle room while it is directed toward a door opening part side, a seated person can move easily between the seat main body 10 and a wheelchair in this vehicle seat. Consequently, it is possible to solve problems that large travel distance cannot be set in order to avoid the interference with a door in a conventional case where the seat main body 10 is moved straight when moving it to the outside of the vehicle room and, as a result, travel movement of the seated person becomes too tight between the seat main body 10 and the wheelchair.
