PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniformly and easily fix the circumferential part of a net member to a seat frame at sufficient tension and strength in the seat structure of a chair. SOLUTION: An insert piece 16 is fixed to the circumferential edge part of the net member 2, which is tensioned in the upper surface of the seat frame 1 and has its circumferential part inward folded via the upper surface and an outer side surface of the outer circumferential part of the seat frame 1. The insert piece 16 is fitted in a circumferential retainer groove 10 provided in the lower surface of the outer circumferential part of the seat frame 1 and the insert piece 16 is pushed in the retainer groove 10 with a fastening frame 3 fitted to the lower side of the seat frame 1 so as to apply the tension to the net member 2.
