The door closure system (2) uses a key provided with a mechanical or electronic authorization code, a cylinder module (10) with a cylinder adapter (12) and a rotatable closure element (14) for operation of a lock mechanism and an operating module (20) coupled to the cylinder module, provided with a housing (22) acting as an operating element and a control unit (30) processing the access code provided by the key, for operating a setting motor for movement of a control slider, controlling the coupling between the cylinder module and the operating module.
