<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital filter which is realized within a small circuit scale even when an FIR filter requires steep cutoff frequency characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: Multiplication processing of an input signal delayed by a delay circuits corresponding to the order of filtering and a filter coefficient corresponding to the order representing the impulse response characteristic of the filter, is approximated by shifting and addition processing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
