<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temporary cable support which is composed of less structural components and can materialize an efficient work more safely with less manhours. <P>SOLUTION: The temporary cable support 1 comprises a vertical arm 2, a temporary cable support section 3 which has a cable clamp 4, and a plurality of support members 5 which can shift vertically along the vertical arm 2. The support members 5 are fixed to a support (a utility pole or an arm) or the vertical arm 2. Further one end of the vertical arm lift 8 is fixed to the vertical arm 2 or the support member 5 fixed to the vertical arm 2, and the other end is fixed to the support member 5 fixed to the support. Thus, the vertical arm 2, the cable support section 3, and the cable clamp 4 can be vertically shiftable by adjusting the length of the belt of the vertical arm lift 8. Therefore, it is possible to attach the temporary cable holder 1 to the optional position of the support, by the support clamp of the support member 5.
